Trumansburg’s iconic Rongovian Embassy closes doors

The Rongovian Embassy in Trumansburg has closed “indefinitely,” owners say.

In a sudden announcement this week, owners say while they have tried very hard to keep the venue “open, healthy and fun,” they are closing their doors due to “overwhelming financial complications.”

The venue officially closed Wednesday, and The Rongo will reopen for three more concerts without a full menu, on Nov. 12, Nov. 19 and Dec. 4.

Mainly that the owners are and always were drug addicts and only interested in bringing girls upstairs.
I saw Johnny Winter there though believe it or not. Great show.
