Auburn PD: Number of arrests, calls for service continues to drop

As the temperature continues to drop in the city of Auburn, so has the number of overall crimes and calls for service, police said.

According to the Auburn Police Department’s monthly activity report, last month there were 322 fewer calls for service and 18 fewer arrests. There were also fewer traffic incidents as officers made around 350 stops and issued nearly 145 tickets — that’s compared to 538 traffic stops and 376 tickets in September.
