Canandaigua woman stole TJ Maxx employees credit cards, used them at area stores

A Canandaigua woman is facing a grand larceny charge after she allegedly used stolen credit cards at TJ Maxx.

Deputies say that Shylyn Marie Thompson, 17, of Canandaigua was arrested for grand larceny in the fourth degree following an investigation into events that occurred on October 19th at the TJ Maxx store located at 3225 State Route 364 in the Town of Canandaigua.

Investigators say that Thompson had stolen credit cards from other employees at the TJ Maxx store and used those cards to make personal purchases at other stores around Ontario County.

She was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in Canandaigua Town Court.
