Clifton Springs man rams woman’s car after domestic incident in Farmington; officials have it on tape

State Police have arrested a Clifton Springs man after a domestic incident at the Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack on Tuesday.

Brent Bond, 33, of Clifton Springs was arrested after police say he intentionally rammed into a woman’s car with another vehicle after an argument at the Finger Lakes facility on Route 96 in Farmington.

Surveillance showed Bond chasing the woman’s vehicle, passing it, and intentionally driving into the path of the vehicle. The woman was forced to brake quickly to avoid a collision. At that point, her vehicle reversed course and fled in the opposite direction. Bond then gave chase to the vehicle in his own — ramming into the woman’s car in an attempt to stop her from fleeing the scene.

At that point Bond fled the scene and was found in Clifton Springs by State Police.

He was charged with criminal mischief in the second degree, reckless endangerment in the second degree, and several vehicle and traffic violations. He was released after being arraigned.

An order of protection was issued for the victim.
