A robbery investigation in Newark has yielded two arrests following an incident that took place on December 17th.
Police say a victim was lured to a location on Park Avenue in Newark by Jacquelyn Sullivan, 20, of Lyons. After the victim arrived at the location, Sullivan shut off his vehicle and two men opened the doors.
They asked for his belongings, which included all of his money and a watch. When he surrendered those items — he was punched in the face by one of the male suspects.
Christopher Clack, 21, of Newark was arrested in addition to Sullivan. Both were charged with grand larceny and robbery.
Sullivan was remanded to the Wayne County Jail on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. While Clack was remanded on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 secured bond.
Police expect a third arrest will be made in the coming days. The investigation remains ongoing.
