Power outages remain a common theme after Tuesday’s wild weather. Snow, freezing rain, and high winds pounded the Finger Lakes region — leaving thousands without power last night and this morning.
While outages are being worked on by NYSEG and RG&E officials — there are plenty still being reported throughout the region.
RG&E reports that 1,351 are without power in Monroe County. They also report that 233 are without power in Wayne County. The outages in Wayne County are centered in Butler, Huron, Savannah and Wolcott.
NSEG reports that a little over 100 are without power still in Cayuga County. While Tompkins County reports 77 are without power.
Last night, the outages peaked as counties throughout the area reported thousands of outages overall.
