A Rochester man was arrested by Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies following an investigation into an incident involving an infant consuming suboxone, resulting in that child’s hospitalization.
On Tuesday, Daniel R. Legler, 29, of Rochester was charged with endangering the welfare of a child after an investigation revealed that on August 28th he took suboxone that did not belong to him, and then failed to properly secure it.
The 7-month-old child then ingested the medication because it was not secured properly. After the incident Legler had been remanded to the Auburn State Correctional Facility on a parole violation prioer to the completion of the investigation.
Legler was arrested at the prison — but will return to Gorham Town Court to answer the charge.
