Wayne County man charged with felony robbery

A Wayne County man is behind bars after being accused of committing a strong-arm robbery in the town of Lyons last year.

State police charged Jacob A. Johnson, 31, of Clyde, with third-degree robbery, a class D felony, for allegedly stealing $190 from another man on July 1.

Johnson was apprehended on Feb. 6 by state police and the New York State Police Violent Felony Warrant Squad, according to a release.
