The Seneca Falls Climate Summit — organized to promote climate literacy through dialogue — will be held Thursday, March 16, at Mynderse Academy.
This event is open to Finger Lakes-area high school students, local governments and community members and will run from 1 to 6 p.m. The summit will expose participants to climate change information and attendees will then have an opportunity to gather together in small groups with members from their school, institution or community; take the information they’ve heard (including suggested solutions); and create their own climate action plans.
There is no cost for this event. Attendees sign in at 1 p.m. in Mynderse Academy’s main lobby, with the program starting at 1:30 p.m.
