Port Byron man sentenced in federal court for conspiring to defraud the FDA

A Port Byron man who operated a business in Skaneateles has been sentenced for his involvement in a conspiracy that illegally manufactured and sold pro-hormone/designer steroids.

Matthew S. Greacen, 50, was sentenced Monday, Feb. 13, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia in Abingdon after having previously pleaded guilty to related federal charges, Acting United States Attorney Rick A. Mountcastle announced.
