Fire & Ice returns to downtown with hot, cold attractions

Canandaigua is known for its many attractions that bring locals and tourists out of their homes and into the city. From Canandaigua Lake to the Constellation Brands Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center to Sonnenberg Gardens, there are more than enough opportunities to have fun and explore in the summer, fall and spring time.

It seems people are limited when it comes to winter activities, however. This is why the Canandaigua Business Improvement District created the Downtown Canandaigua Fire & Ice Winter Festival last year and will have its second festival on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the business district. The festival helps introduce offseason activities as well as promote community and local businesses.
