A man accused of raping a woman in Pennsylvania was captured in Skaneateles Wednesday.
New York state troopers arrested Jason O. Stevens, 43, after receiving a call from a woman notifying authorities that he was at a residence located at 702 Stump Road in Skaneateles.
After troopers responded to the address, Stevens acknowledged that he was wanted in Washington County, Pennsylvania. The state police contacted the Monongahela Police Department, which confirmed that Stevens was wanted on several charges, including rape.
The charges stem from an alleged incident that occurred on Feb. 14. CBS Pittsburgh reported that Stevens is accused of breaking into a woman’s home and raping her.
