Cole & Parks Restaurant, housed in a quaint yellow 1813 farmhouse in Victor, Ontario County, will close March 3 after 13 years in business. The Daniele family is under contract to purchase the property from Cole & Parks owner Bill Collins; the family intends to build a Royal Car Wash.
The building at 607 Rowley Road, near the intersection of Route 96 and the New York Thruway, was built by Simeon Parks, a prosperous farmer, according to a Driving Tour of Historic Victor, published by the town of Victor. The Parks family cemetery is directly across the street from the house and was deeded to the town of Victor, the publication said.
