Geneva men facing drug charges after traffic stop in Fayette

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on Monday at approximately 2 pm the Narcotics Unit arrested two Geneva men after a traffic stop.

Timothy P. Ryan, 35, and Matthew A. Ryan, 31, both of Geneva were arrested following a traffic stop on River Rd. in Fayette.

Timothy Ryan was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. It is alleged that he possessed heroin and cocaine during the traffic stop.

Matthew Ryan was charged with one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is accused of possessing heroin during the stop.

Matthew was released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear on April 5th at 7:00 pm at the Town of Fayette Court.

Timothy was arraigned at the Town of Fayette Court and committed to the custody of the Sheriff in lieu of $1,000 bail. He is scheduled to re-appear at a later date.
