Town Hall work prompts new digs for Farmington staff

March 1st was moving day for occupants of Town Hall, although the big shift in workspaces will continue until Monday.

As part of a Town Hall renovation project, town offices are moving into the west wing of the facility on County Rd. 8. Driving the project is the need for more room for the building and assessor’s departments, said Supervisor Peter Ingalsbe.

“We’ll be cozy for a while,” Ingalsbe said. That will mean other changes that affect the public.

On Monday, a new entrance will be in use for the Building, Planning and Zoning Office. Signs will be posted to alert members of the public.
