Alleged victim takes stand in predatory sexual assault trial

He was her everything. That's the sentiment the alleged victim of 30-year-old Alexander Kuras asserted when she first sat down on the witness stand Tuesday in the Ontario County Courthouse's North Courtroom.

Kuras, of Canandaigua, is on trial for 17 charges stemming from allegations made by the 22-year-old. The laundry list of crimes against Kuras includes two counts of predatory sexual assault, a class A-II felony, for allegedly raping the Bristol woman. If found guilty by the jury of seven women and five men, selected Monday, Kuras faces a sentence that includes the rest of his life behind bars.
