Palmyra man charged with DWI after property damage accident

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports that on March 6th a Palmyra man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a property damage accident.

Deputies arrested Phillip W. Jones, 31, of Palmyra after he was said to be involved in a property damage accident. He was found to be driving while intoxicated when deputies investigated.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to use designated lane, operating a motor vehicle while using a cellular device, speed not reasonable, and aggravated unlicensed operation in the third-degree.

He was released after processing and is scheduled to appear in Ontario Town Court.
