Moravia withstands rally, heads to state final

If any team knows how quickly a seemingly insurmountable early lead can evaporate, it would be the Moravia Blue Devils. They rallied from a 21-point first-quarter deficit Sunday to reach Friday’s state semifinals.

Leading, 35-16, at halftime against Stony Brook of Section 11, Moravia coach Todd Mulvaney reminded his team there was still plenty of basketball remaining.
