A former Honeoye resident is moving back home, and in the process, has announced she is making a run at the top spot in the Ontario County District Attorney’s Office.
Attorney Kristina “Kitty” Karle, who practices in Rochester and Canandaigua, said on Saturday that her goal in seeking the district attorney position is to bring the experience she’s garnered back home.
“I have a lot of fresh ideas and approaches that I want to bring to the office, and all revolve around having a team of highly trained trial attorneys who know how to thoroughly investigate cases and effectively present the evidence in court,” said Karle, a Republican. “I will focus on the needs of victims and their families during the criminal case process. I will be a hands-on DA who works directly with my team fighting arm in arm for justice in the community that I love.”
