Farming groups host first watershed meeting in Owasco

Tim Fessenden and Jason Burroughs looked out onto about 100 people Monday night inside the Ward W. O’Hara Agricultural Museum in Owasco.

Representing Cayuga County farmers, the two pushed their dislike of public speaking aside to show their respective farms’ best management practices and take questions. It was part of a kickoff meeting for a new agricultural-centered watershed group called Partners for Healthy Watersheds.
