Discussion about needed repairs to the county-owned Seneca Connections Drop-In Center will continue April 11.
The Board of Supervisors Public Works Committee began the discussion at the March 28 committee meeting, with agreement to continue the debate.
The topic will be addressed again at a 5 p.m. April 11 committee meeting before the full board meeting.
“The restrooms are the main issue. They need to be brought up to Americans with Disabilities Act compliance,” said Bob Stuck, county Director of Facilities.
That includes widening the doors, making them accessible to wheelchairs and installing grab bars. Stuck said there are two restrooms on the main floor used by program participants and staff.
