The New York Wine and Culinary Center, 800 S. Main St., Canandaigua, will host the 2017 American Culinary Federation Rochester Chef of the Year Celebration from 4 to 7 p.m. April 30.
Attendees will enjoy 10 food stations showcasing cuisines created by ACF members and students. Each station will be paired with a New York state wine or beer. Proceeds will go toward ACF Rochester Scholarship funds and educational programming at NYWCC.
Participating chefs are Sean Flaherty, executive chef at Shadow Lake Golf and Racquet Club; Brian Mattice, executive chef of Rochester Presbyterian Home, Cottage Grove and Creek Stone; and Gene Trotta, executive director of dining services at Jewish Senior Life of Rochester.
