Victor chamber honors 12 as Women of Excellence

Twelve exemplary women from the Victor community were celebrated and honored at the sixth annual Victor Chamber of Commerce Women of Excellence Awards.

Held at Ravenwood Country Club on March 8, the event has become a favorite for Victor Chamber Executive Director Mitch Donovan. He’s not alone.

“Getting to recognize the incredibly talented women we have here in Victor is an honor,” he said. “As I read some of the bios of women the chamber has worked with over the years, I was surprised a couple of them hadn’t been nominated in past years. Fortunately, friends and colleagues nominated them this year, and I’m sure we’ll be discovering more women of excellence as the award ceremony tradition continues.”

Among the honorees were Michele Liddle, who received the Jikohnsaseh Award; Eleanor Barry, who received the Lantern Award; and Kiara Kolaczyk, who received the Student of Promise Award.
