Seneca Falls man charged after domestic incident

On Wednesday at 7:58 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Matthew A. Williams, 25, of Seneca Falls following a domestic incident.

Police responded and investigated a domestic incident involving Williams and another town resident.

Police say he intentionally damaged a motor vehicle and prevented the victim from calling for police assistance.

As a result of the investigation, Williams was charged with one count of fourth-degree criminal mischief and one count of third-degree auto stripping. Both are class A misdemeanors.

Williams was processed and arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court where he was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to re-appear on May 10th, 2017, and an order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
