Victor man fails to signal, charged with DWI

On May 21st Troopers arrested William M. Rotach, 25, of Victor for driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08 percent and failure to signal properly.

Rotach was stopped while making a turn off of State Route 31 in the Town of Lyons for failing to signal prior to 100 feet.

Upon further investigation, Rotach was placed under arrest after failing multiple standard field sobriety tests. He was transported to State Police Lyons where he provided a breath sample of .12 percent blood-alcohol content.

Rotach was released with uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Ira Court in June.
