For the third straight year, the Richmond Fireman’s Carnival is helping to usher in the midyear fun — with crafts, food and fireworks on tap through Saturday night.
Again located in the lot between Commodore and Dougherty Funeral Home on Main Street in Richmond, the carnival began Thursday and concludes Saturday.
Opening at noon on Saturday, the day’s festivities will include rides, food, crafts, music and an evening fireworks display. Admission is free, with 20 ride tickets costing $20, 40 tickets $42 and $20 bracelets allowing unlimited rides between 1-4 p.m. The carnival closes at 11 p.m. Saturday, with the rides ending at 10:30 p.m.
