Finger Lakes Community Health getting $3.2M grant

Finger Lakes Community Health has been approved for a federal grant of nearly $3.2 million from the Health Resources and Services Administration.

The grant was announced Tuesday by Congressman Tom Reed, whose 23rd District includes Yates County. The exact amount of the grant is $3,176,804.

Reed said the grant will support high-quality, comprehensive healthcare to people in the region with an emphasis on underserved and special populations.

“We care about providing accessible and affordable healthcare to those across the Finger Lakes region,” Reed said in a press release. “This grant will help provide quality healthcare to those individuals who need such services in the area.”
