NY Liquor Authority to consider Farmer’s Inn permit

It’s been a full year since Canandaigua City Police provided the New York State Liquor Authority with a list of illegal activities they say are ongoing at a decades-old Coach Street watering hole.

Next week, they may see some results.

Canandaigua Police Chief Stephen Hedworth told city officials Tuesday that the Farmer’s Inn would be the subject of a state Liquor Authority administrative hearing next week. An outcome is not expected for another month to two months, he said.

Last year, police broke down their specific concerns about the bar, including on-site drug use and sales, violence, and over-serving of alcohol.
