Romulus teen pulls fire alarm, faces felony charge

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Sunday around 9:30 am deputies arrested a 17-year-old Romulus resident for falsely reporting an incident.

Deputies say that a minor allegedly pulled a fire alarm pull station at a commercial building in Varick. The 17-year-old was subsequently charged with second-degree falsely reporting an incident.

He was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 secured bond.

The 17-year-old will reappear on June 15th for a felony hearing.
