The Auburn Doubledays four-day minicamp started with less than ideal conditions.
Passing thunderstorms soaked Falcon Park early Thursday afternoon, causing the Doubledays to change their plans. The position players moved indoor to the batting cages, the pitchers got in some bullpen sessions and there was some throwing in the outfield.
For manager Jerad Head, the first day was all about getting in whatever work his team could fit in.
