Ettman will take on new role for Seneca County

David Ettman will not need a waiver of Seneca County’s residency requirement for his new job.

A Varick resident, Ettman was appointed assistant county attorney this week by County Attorney Frank Fisher, filling a vacancy that has existed since the May 19 departure of David Morabito.

“I am very pleased to have someone with Mr. Ettman’s background and experience coming to the county law department,” Fisher said. “I am certain that his years of experience will be invaluable to the office.”

“I look forward to the challenge,” Ettman said.

A native of Memphis, Tenn., Ettman graduated from Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss., in 1979. He has a degree in economics and served in the Reserve Officer Training Corps, or ROTC.
