Police: Auburn man arrested for stealing more than $2,500 in merchandise from Walmart

An Auburn man has been charged with two felonies for stealing more than $2,500 in merchandise from Walmart, the Auburn Police Department said.

Kristopher C. Tracy, 31, of 63 Van Anden St., was arrested Wednesday and charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny.

According to Auburn Captain James Moore, Tracy was involved in a minor motor vehicle accident May 27 at the corner of Standart Avenue and N. Fulton Street. When police responded, Moore said officers found some items in Tracy’s vehicle which they suspected to be stolen.
