State Police: Palmyra man hit victim with walking stick during domestic

State Police say that a Palmyra man was charged with assault, menacing, and criminal mischief after a domestic incident on June 21st.

Police say David S. Main, 54, of Palmyra struck the victim with a walking stick during the alleged incident, which resulted in that victim being transported to Newark-Wayne Hospital.

She was admitted for non-life threatening injuries, according to State Police.

Main was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree menacing, and fourth-degree criminal mischief. He was arraigned in Arcadia Town Court and issued a temporary stay away order of protection.

The next court appearance for Main will be on Tuesday at 4 pm.
