Auburn-area golf tournaments to support causes in health, human services

• The Arc of Seneca Cayuga will hold its 20th annual golf tournament at 11 a.m. Monday, July 10, at Highland Park Golf Club, 3068 Franklin St. Road, Sennett. The tournament is a four-person scramble, and includes lunch, dinner, on-course contests, a team photo and a gift bag. Sponsor levels are also available. The tournament supports Arc’s providing of services to more than 1,200 people with disabilities and their families in Cayuga and Seneca counties.  • Cayuga Centers will hold its fifth annual golf tournament at 10 a.m. Monday, July 17, at Highland Park Golf Club, 3068 Franklin St. Road, Sennett. Registration includes golf for a foursome, two carts, beverages, a team photo, lunch on the course and dinner. Proceeds support the Auburn agency’s work serving children and families in New York, southeast Florida and Delaware with evidence-based programs, residential and foster care treatment, and services for people with developmental disabilities. • A golf tournament to support Cayuga County Habitat for Humanity will be held Friday, Aug. 18, at Dutch Hollow Country Club, 1839 Benson Road, Auburn. Beardsley Architects + Engineers’ 13th annual golf tournament will include 18 holes, a cart and a New York strip steak dinner. The registration deadline is Aug. 1. • The Child Advocacy Center of Cayuga County will hold a golf tournament at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at Highland Park Golf Club, 3068 Franklin St. Road, Sennett. Registration includes greens fees, a cart, lunch on the course, dinner, and chances to win $10,000. There will also be closest-to-pin and longest drive competitions. Registration is due Aug. 9.
