Moravia High School teacher Justin Vossler’s “Jeopardy!” run has come to an end.
Vossler and his two competitors, Ryan Kious of Albuquerque and Shadi Peterman of St. Louis, were separated by $600 entering Final Jeopardy. Kious, a social media and web writer, led with $10,400, Vossler was in second with $10,000 and Peterman, who like Vossler is a high school history teacher, had $9,800.
The Final Jeopardy category was “The Oscars.” The clue: “This Brit is the only actor to get Oscar nominations for playing two real-life U.S. presidents, both for 1990s films.”
The correct response was Anthony Hopkins.
None of the contestants had the correct answer. They all wrote down Daniel Day-Lewis. With incorrect responses all around, it came down to how much each player wagered.
