Deputies: Farmington woman broke into apartment, attacked residents, and stole property

Deputies arrested a 35-year-old Farmington woman as part of a burglary investigation at Terrace Lane Apartments on August 6th.

Shannon Noel Rienholtz, 35, of Farmington was charged with first-degree burglary after an incident that took place at Terrace Lane.

Investigators say Rienholtz forced her way into another person’s apartment, causing injury to the owner and stealing two phones before fleeing.

Rienholtz began attacking others, causing further injury and forcibly stealing more property while in the presence of a child less than 17-years-old.

When officers responded, she remained combative, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Rienholtz was arraigned in Victor Town Court and remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 secured bond.
