Mets’ 3 homers vs. Rangers help Flexen to 1st win

For the second time in three games at Citi Field, the Mets took an early lead behind a flurry of home runs. This time, they even held on for the win.

Michael Conforto opened the bottom of the first with his sixth leadoff homer, and Yoenis Cespedes and Travis d’Arnaud added big flies of their own as the Mets took advantage of spot starter A.J. Griffin in a 5-4 win Tuesday over the Rangers.
