Full-scale working replica of an 1862 canal schooner will be visits Newark

Lois McClure, a full-scale working replica of an 1862 canal schooner will be visiting Newark! On Saturday, September 2nd and Sunday, September 3rd visitors may tour Lois McClure from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This beautiful vessel was constructed over a three year period by Lake Champlain Maritime Museum and was launched in 2004, bringing the rich history of the canal boat era back to life.
