Waterloo pair charged with breaking into village business

The Waterloo Police Department reports the arrest of two Waterloo men after a burglary, which took place on February 26th.

Police say Scott M. Knowlton, 18, and Daniel S. Macgill, 22, both of Waterloo are accused of entering a village business, damaging property while inside, and stealing cash and other items.

The duo were charged with third-degree burglary — a Class D felony, fourth-degree grand larceny — a Class E felony, and third-degree criminal mischief — a Class E felony.

Both will answer the charges at a later date in Waterloo Village Court.

MacGill is incarcerated on other charges, according to police.
