While the race for Ontario County district attorney has been the most high-profile contest in the county, a number of towns in the county will have primary contests as well.
The two candidates for district attorney, Kristina “Kitty” Karle and Jim Ritts, will square off in Republican and Reform party primaries Tuesday. Karle, a Honeoye-area resident and private practice attorney, is a former prosecutor in Erie and Monroe counties. Ritts, a Canandaigua resident, is first assistant county district attorney.
