Pair charged with larceny, endangering child after Waterloo incident

On Friday at approximately 7:25 pm police arrested a Waterloo woman and Seneca Falls man for petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child after a larceny complaint was filed at Walmart.

Police say Jessica A. Scott, 32, and Guy S. Johnson, 55, stole merchandise from Walmart in Waterloo, and did so while a 3-year-old was with them.

Both were arraigned and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility.

During the incident it was discovered that Scott also had an active bench warrant out for her arrest. It was issued on July 6th as result of her failure to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court.

The child was turned over to a family member, according to police.
