Weather turns around for the Finger Lakes this week

It’s going to be a quiet weather week in the Finger Lakes, according to local meteorologists and the National Weather Service. It’s a welcomed change after the cool, damp, and generally unsettled weather that has made it feel like October, instead of early-September the last several days.

FLX Weather Meteorologist Drew Montreuil says that high pressure is going to dominate our weather throughout the week. He says that temperatures will push into the low-70s on Monday.

Temperatures should remain mild throughout the week, and even as Irma moves northward — it should have little, to no-impact on our weather locally. Montrueil says nuisance clouds and a few showers will be the maximum of what Irma brings to the region.
