Dave D’Amico, candidate for Ontario County supervisor representing the city of Geneva, will hold a Sept. 20 forum at the North Street Apartments complex.
D’Amico is running to represent District 2 (wards 3 and 4) on the county board. The forum will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and is open to complex residents.
“It will be an introduction to me, my campaign, and my vision for the future of our city and county,” D’Amico said in a press release. “I want to see Geneva reach its fullest potential.”
D’Amico, of Maxwell Avenue, is co-owner of D’Amico Plumbing & Heating. He is endorsed by the Republican, Conservative, Independence and Reform parties.
His opponent in the November election will be Democrat Lou Guard, vice president and general counsel for Hobart and William Smith Colleges President Greg Vincent. Guard was appointed to the county board earlier this year to fill the unexpired term of longtime supervisor Charlie Evangelista, now Democratic commissioner for the county Board of Elections.
