Rochester man busted in crack cocaine investigation in Canandaigua

On Thursday at approximately 5 pm members of the Canandaigua Police Department arrested a 37-year-old Rochester resident as part of a crack cocaine investigation.

Investigators say that Louis D. Powell, of Rochester was charged with second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.



It is alleged that Powell sold crack cocaine while in the City of Canandaigua. As result, he was charged and arraigned in Canandaigua.

All of the charges will be answered at a later date in Canandaigua City Court. The Ontario County Sheriff’s Department assisted, according to police, and additional charges are pending against Powell.
