Garee pleads not guilty to terrorist threat charge

The Seneca Falls man accused of threatening town Supervisor Greg Lazzaro and Seneca Meadows District Manager Kyle Black pleaded not guilty Friday in Waterloo Town Court.

John C. Garee, 69, of Tall Oaks Drive, faces a Class D felony charge of making a terroristic threat.

Appearing with attorney Matt Lembke of Rochester, Garee entered the innocent plea. He remains free on bail.

Lembke asked for an adjournment “to continue discussions on how to resolve this matter.” He requested a pre-plea investigation by the Seneca County Probation Department.
