Two people were airlifted from the scene of a crash with injuries, according to the Ovid Fire Department, who posted an update on a busy day to Facebook.
LifeNet and Mercy Flight transported the patients to Upstate Hospital in Syracuse. Extent of the injuries was not known, but according to Ovid FD — Schuyler Ambulance and South Seneca Ambulance both assisted at the scene.
Interlaken and Ovid fire departments set up landing zones.
Reports indicate that the crash took place in Lodi, and involved at least one motorcycle. The site of the crash was on Rt. 414.
The Ovid FD reported on their Facebook Page that it was the third call they had been toned out to in 24-hours.
