Quick poll: Nobody recalled a Naples Grape Festival as hot as this one, with temperatures reaching above 90 degrees both days for the weekend event. But it didn’t deter crowds from flooding the village of Naples for hot deals and more at the annual festival established in 1961.
The event wrapped up at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Sponsored by the Naples Rotary Club, the festival celebrates the area’s grape harvest, artisans, winemakers, local and regional music and cuisine. The event is known for its juried art show and the World’s Greatest Grape Pie contest.
