The Hunt Family will be hosting their 28th annual Harvest Festival at Hunt Country Vineyards from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1. It’s going to be an excellent fall weekend event for the whole family. There will be grape stomping and tours of the seventh generation farm by hay wagon. Children (and the young at heart) can enjoy pumpkin painting, lawn games, board games, and a hay-bale play area filled with corn. Under the tent will be local craftspeople and artists displaying their finest work.
Admission and standard wine tastings during the festival are free. Visitors pay only for the other activities, wines, and food they choose.
‒ The Café at Hunt Country will have a special menu of tasty comfort foods like stew, mac and cheese, sandwiches, chocolate cake, and grape pie.
‒ The Buffalonian food truck will be serving up delicious fare made from scratch, including gluten-free options.
‒ Potatoes and Molasses, the food truck from Black Brook Farm, will be offering micro greens, baked potatoes, farm-style fries, and savory and sweet pies.
‒ Hunt Country will also be serving up their special mix of fall cocktails, sangria and mulled wine, made with their own wines and local gin and whiskey.
