Earlier this week, Miami officials confirmed the U.S. Department of Justice is investigation a member of the Miami coaching staff and a potential recruit as part of its ongoing probe.
Carey is now down to Syracuse and Connecticut. He is set to make his announcement on Oct. 11 at his school.
