Motorcyclist airlifted to Strong after Richmond crash

Deputies say a 61-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital following a collision with a deer on Rt. 20A in the Town of Richmond.

The Sheriff’s Office reports that Kevin R. Walden, 61, of Honey was traveling westbound when he struck a deer that entered the roadway from the south side of the road.



The deer was killed upon impact, but Walden was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

No tickets were issued and Richmond Fire and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
